Happy New Year!!!

We came back to Shetland just the day before Granny and Grandpa came from Orkney. They were delighted to see me and I was very happy to meet them at last. Here in Shetland is very cold and windy, when we got out of the plane the wind was howling so loud that I woke up and started screaming, I never had heard that noise before!!! On the way back home we went to meet my Great granny, she is a very nice and sweet lady.

Here is me having a bath with Granny and Grandpa

We started the New Year at my Great granny's, Mummy wanted to eat the grapes as we Spanish do, by eating one grape for each gong from the clock at 12 o'clock at night on the 31st of December, it is supposed to give you good luck for the New Year. Everybody joined in, but Granny loosed one grape and started looking for it on the floor, Mum found that hilarious and started laughing so much that she started choking and she couldn't finish all the grapes.

Hi Grandpa!!

I am really enjoyed being in Spain with everybody making a fuss of me and giving me all the attention. I love my clothes!! they are from my cousins Ivan and Diana, and they are really cute. La abuela did work very hard to get them ready for my arrival, and still is sending away clothes...but now for a one year old baby, keep them coming abuela!!!

As we are travelling back to Shetland I have to get my very own passport, Mummy and Daddy made lots of pictures that will met the requirements for a passport picture, at least babies can have their eyes closed!!!

The next day, Mummy and Daddy were still very tired, but we had lots of visitors, like los abuelos, auntie Marga, uncle Carlos, my cousins Ivan, Diana and Silvia, my other Spanish uncle Rafa and Cristina and Carlos two friends of Mummy. They all say that I was very cute and they brought some presents for me.

After two days in hospital, we went to los abuelos flat. Mummy and Daddy slept in los abuelos bedroom with me and I slept in my cousin's pram. The best thing about the day that we came back from the hospital was that Mummy gave my first bath. We stayed there until the 29th, when we came back to Shetland. I really enjoyed my time in Madrid, my parents had quite a few visitors and everybody was making a big fuss about me, all the family went to 'La Posta Real' to celebrate los abuelos 45th wedding anniversary and I had my first Christmas, but I am not in any of the pictures as I was fast sleep during the Christmas Eve's Dinner and the next day, los abuelos had a cold so we didn't celebrate it. Mum says that this year it will be considered my first Christmas, as last one was mayhem.

I am born!!!!

Hi all!!! I am new to this World, I was not very keen about coming out at all, I was meant to arrive on the 27th of November, but inside Mummy was so comfy...In fact, it took more than 12 hours, but eventually I had to come out. When I did, I gave a big surprise to Mummy and Daddy, who had been all 8 months thinking that I was going to be a boy, as nearly everybody else. Shame that I couldn't see their faces though, but everything was very blurry. They put me on Mummy's tummy and she and Daddy looked at me for a peerie while, I think they were very very happy...and suddenly they took me away to put drops into my eyes, check that I was fine and give me my first injection!!! (this doctors have no mercy), they put me a hat and covered me with a blanket and took me to Mummy and Daddy again, by that time I was very hungry and I kept sticking my tongue out so much that the nurse who was carrying Mummy and I out of the delivery room was very surprised. El abuelo y la abuela were outside waiting for us, they smiled at me saying that I looked like Daddy and then we all went to our room, Daddy phone Granny and Granpa who had came back from a panthomime (they left in the middle of it, actually) and they were very excited to know that everything went well. La abuela put me on a bodygrow and a pijamas (why people have to get dressed is something that I still don't get!) and Mummy breasfeed me during three hours until I was full and went to sleep.
